This page describes privacy for Noétis and Legacy. It is written for Play Store transparency and to inform users clearly.

Noétis
Noétis keeps no user data. Your books stay on your device, encrypted locally.
•Files and entries are stored locally on the device (offline-first).
•AI is used to import invoices (document reading and automatic entries). Documents processed for this recognition are not retained: Noétis keeps no data.
•Noétis has no server that archives your books: the publisher keeps no business data.
•Local encryption protects your files on the device.
•E-invoicing is supported; exchange details (receipt via an accredited platform) still mean no lasting storage of your data by Noétis.
•From the professional plan, the AI Advisor may analyse your books to advise you: only information needed for the answer is sent for processing, with no dossier kept by Noétis.
Legacy
Legacy is built for household privacy. Your journal stays on the device (SQLCipher). Import OFX or CSV locally — no bank login. The network is used only if you enable the AI Advisor.
Freemium & Premium
•100% offline: no mandatory cloud sync, no publisher account, no bank login.
•Entries in a locally encrypted database (SQLCipher). Household files stay on the device.
•Android backup (Google Backup) is disabled. A .legacybackup export exists only if you create one, protected by a password you choose.
•Your data remains your property; the publisher does not access your household books.
OFX or CSV import
•You import an OFX or CSV statement from the Journal. There is no bank connection, no bank login, and no import button on the dashboard.
•OFX and CSV stay fully local: the file is read on the device, with no publisher archive of your household ledger.
•Import is accepted only when balances and totals match the extracted entries; otherwise it is refused.
•This site does not claim extra statement formats beyond OFX and CSV on the English pages.
•The publisher does not resell your books.
AI Advisor
•To analyse your books and advise you, a connection is required: relevant parts of your file may be sent to the AI service for processing (Noétis proxy, with no dossier kept by the publisher).
•Your data remains your property. It continues to be stored and encrypted on your device.
•When you are not using the AI Advisor, the app stays local and encrypted.
•It is no longer a strict offline mode while you use the advisor.
